The EU has just committed €117 million in direct budgetary support to the government of Burkina Faso in order to contribute to the country's food security and nutrition, as well as its sustainable agriculture and resilience.
A financial agreement on this was signed in Ouagadougou on Monday 27 February by the European Commission's director general of DG International Cooperation and Development, Stefano Manservisi.
