Jerzy Buzek re-appointed to head industry, research and energy committee

25/01/2017 (Agence Europe) – The members of the European Parliament’s industry, research and energy committee voted on Wednesday 25 January to return Jerzy Buzek (EPP, Poland) to his position as committee chair. At the same time, Patrizia Toia (S&D, Italy), Hans-Olaf Henkel (ECR, Germany), Jaromir Kohlicek (GUE/NGL, Czech Republic) and Helveg Petersen (ALDE, Denmark) were re-appointed to their positions as first, second, third and fourth deputy chairs respectively.
