17/01/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 17 January, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a TND 25 million (€10.12 million) senior unsecured loan to the Compagnie Internationale de Leasing (CIL) for on-lending to local micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Tunisia. The EBRD says that it has "recently established a source of funding in Tunisian dinars, which allows it to provide loans in local currency without requiring hedging". The EBRD press release says that this loan to CIL is the second to be provided by the EBRD under this new facility. (FB)
