Antonio Tajani starts bid to win over other political groups for European Parliament Presidency

The new candidate of the EPP group for the Presidency of the European Parliament, Italy's Antonio Tajani, started negotiations with the other political groups on Tuesday evening to secure support for his election, in January of next year, to the top job at the European Parliament, he announced at a press conference the day after his election on Wednesday 14 December.
