Substituting animal testing of chemicals with new alternative methods, such as non-animal testing prediction systems (NATPS) could lead to large-scale misuse of these systems and risk negation strategies that undermine evaluation of the safety of chemicals, including pesticides and endocrine disruptors, warns PAN (Pesticide Action Network) Europe.
