Formal approval of postponement of entry into force of 'Priips' regulation until January 2018

08/12/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 8 December, the Council of the EU formally approved the one-year postponement – from January 2017 to January 2018 – of the entry into force of the 'Priips' regulation (1286/14) on the pre-contractual information that retail investors may use to compare certain financial products (see EUROPE 11664).
