8,162 people relocated from Greece and Italy since September 2015

08/12/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 8 December, the European Commission announced that 8,162 people have been relocated from Greece and Italy to the other member states since September 2015. 6,212 people were relocated from Greece and 1,950 from Italy. The Commission said that it should now be possible to transfer all applicants currently in Greece and Italy and eligible for relocation to other member states by September 2017.
