Mogherini welcomes ratification of peace agreement by Colombian Congress

02/12/2016 (Agence Europe) – EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini welcomed the ratification by Colombia on Thursday 1 December of a peace agreement between the government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, FARC.  The wide debate that led to changes to the agreement enabled it to be improved to meet the demands of Colombian society.  Mogherini pointed out that it was crucial for this open and constructive state of mind to last...
