The European Parliament agriculture committee, meeting in Brussels on Monday 28 November, discussed a study on the future of the milk and dairy products sector after milk quotas ended in April 2015. The study recommends “regulation of volumes be a co-ordinated effort … on the European scale … in case of crisis” (see EUROPE 11663).
The study on “Measures against Market Imbalance” says that this could be launched through Article 221 of the single CMO (common market...
