EIB loan for near zero energy buildings in Finland

28/11/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 28 November, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced a €75 million loan to Finnish group VVO to support a construction programme for near zero energy buildings in Finland.  The investment programme comprises the construction of several residential buildings providing around 1,800 homes in Helsinki, Vantaa, Espoo and Tampere.  The loan will be extended under the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI).  (EH)
