Parliament wants to extend minimum length of parental leave

Brussels, 12/05/2016 (Agence Europe) - Is maternity leave making a comeback through the back door of the European Parliament? Just under a year after the withdrawal of the text by the European Commission, MEPs have returned to the issue, adopting a non-legislative resolution in Strasbourg on Thursday 12 May, with new requirements - including that of extending the minimum length of parental leave from four to six months.
