08/04/2016 (Agence Europe) - European Summit to be held on 28 and 29 June. The next meeting of European Union heads of state has been postponed by a few days to avoid clashing with the referendum in the United Kingdom on EU membership. The meeting of the European Council was initially due to take place on 23 and 24 June, but then the British prime minister decided to hold the referendum on 23 June (see EUROPE 11495). (SP)
