The EU delegation in Algiers says in a press release published on Monday 15 February that the Med Culture Euro-Mediterranean regional programme, financed by the EU, has committed to consultations with the Algerian authorities, which are aimed at mobilising different actors from the public cultural sector. The aim is to identify the programme's priorities and to contribute to defining its main actions on the ground. Similar consultations have already taken place with the private cultural sector. Med Culture proposes its action around horizontal themes such as education, vocational training and employability in the cultural and artistic disciplines, the improvement of institutional structures, cooperation and sharing cultural resources.
