Brussels, 06/01/2016 (Agence Europe) - A Eurobarometer survey published by the European Commission on Wednesday 6 January reveals that 70% of Europeans believe that the common agricultural policy (CAP) is fulfilling its role in securing the EU food supply.
The survey was conducted between 17 and 26 October 2015 and 27,822 EU citizens were interviewed. It shows that 45% of Europeans would like to see an increase in EU financial support for farmers over the next ten years.
