06/01/2016 (Agence Europe) - Agreement between Anna Lindh Foundation and academy for strategic studies. On 6 December, the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean cultural foundation signed a memorandum of understanding on establishing long-term cooperation with the Malta-based Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies (MEDAC). MEDAC is a higher education institution specialising in the Mediterranean. The agreement is based on existing cooperation, and sets out to strengthen it. The memorandum of understanding covers specific cultural areas and commits to joint annual activity and the promotion of joint research activities and publications. MEDAC will also play a key role in the preparations for the third Anna Lindh Mediterranean Forum, which will take place in Valletta, Malta on 24-25 October 2016, ahead of the Maltese presidency of the EU Council of Ministers.
