16/12/2015 (Agence Europe) - Cess Veerman nominated chairman of agricultural markets taskforce. On Monday 14 December, the European commissioner for agriculture Phil Hogan announced that Cees Veerman had been nominated as chairman of the agricultural markets taskforce. Veerman was the minister of agriculture in the Netherlands from 2002 until 2007. The taskforce has been launched as part of the aid package to counter the market crisis. (LC)
