Court of Auditors says ACP-EU Energy Facility bearing fruit but sometimes needs better supervision

Brussels, 03/12/2015 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 3 December, the European Court of Auditors (ECA) stated that thanks to its Energy Facility, an instrument financed by the European Development Fund (EDF), the European Commission has succeeded in improving the access of poor people in East Africa to renewable energy - but it could have done better.
