Brussels, 26/11/2015 (Agence Europe) - Within the humanitarian budget of the EU in 2016, the European Commission will double the share of the funds allocated for the education of children in emergency situations, bringing it to 4%. This is in line with the commitment taken in July of this year by the European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management, Christos Stylianides (see EUROPE 11353), a commitment which now has the support of the Parliament and the Council.
