23/11/2015 (Agence Europe) - Cultural cooperation project with EU aid. Med Culture, a regional programme financed by the European Union, met in Tunis on Monday 23 November to set out the work programme for Tunisia. A working group for the development of the country's cultural sector has been formed - the National Focus Group. The Med Cultural regional programme is spread over four years (2014-2018) and, according to the official presentation, aims to accompany the partner countries of the Southern Mediterranean in developing and improving policies and practices linked to the cultural sector. The “consultative participative” approach is “conducted in partnership with civil society actors, ministries, and public and private institutions working in culture as well as other related sectors”.
