29/10/2015 (Agence Europe) - Marcel de Graaff risks sanction after voting instead of Marine le Pen. During the conference of presidents on Thursday 29 October, European Parliament President Martin Schulz said that he would hear Marcel de Graaff (ENF, Netherlands) before discussing with the bureau of the European Parliament how the affair involving de Graaff should be followed up. In Strasbourg the previous day, de Graaff, who is the leader of the PVV, voted four times instead of Marine le Pen, leader of the French National Front, who is president of the ENF Group at the European Parliament (to which de Graaff belongs). De Graaff risks a sanction of being suspended for up to 10 days and a fine equal to 10 days of daily allowance (around €3,000). (LC)
