Morocco and the EU have given an initial positive assessment of the implementation of development support for aquaculture in Morocco - a project that was launched formally on 19 February and provided with a budget of €250,000 (for which France is responsible). A Moroccan press release on Wednesday 28 October, quoted by Moroccan news agency MAP, reports on the conclusions reached by a workshop that was co-chaired by the Moroccan government and the EU. The workshop examined all the action taken in selected areas - particularly engineering, aquaculture, the support given to project holders, the financing of aquaculture projects, traceability and product labelling, and innovation.
