According to a European Parliament press release, MEPs adopted new rules on Thursday 29 October to improve the cooperation between European police by modernising the way the European Police College (CEPOL) works (506 votes in favour, 90 against and 42 abstentions). In the training given at CEPOL, more emphasis will be put on the fight against organised crime, cybercrime and terrorist attacks. (SP)
