10/09/2015 (Agence Europe) - Cameron ready to accept European Parliament's invitation. On Thursday 10 September, several British media reported that the UK's Prime Minister David Cameron has apparently accepted the principle of visiting the European Parliament to discuss the renegotiation of the UK's relationship with the EU. Details of Cameron's visit are expected to become clearer when he attends the European summit on 15-16 October. Cameron spoke to European Parliament President Martin Schulz on Monday evening as Schulz was last week mandated by the conference of presidents of the political groups to contact Cameron and discuss the possible outline of a visit to the European Parliament. Cameron, who seemed in favour of this invitation, and Schulz had “a constructive and friendly conversation” and agreed to discuss this visit again at the October summit, the European Parliament has confirmed.
