10/09/2015 (Agence Europe) - New trainline in UK. For the first time in a century a new trainline was inagurated in the UK on 6 September. The Waverley Line, which took over two years to build, cost a total of £294 million, and was co-financed by the European Investment Bank for £100 million. It is quickly expected to transport 650,000 European passengers per year between Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders in the UK. (PH)
