14/07/2015 (Agence Europe) - Council approves mobilisation of EGF for Finland. On Monday 13 July, the Council of the EU adopted decisions, without debate, approving the mobilisation of up to €1.37 million for Finland from the European Global Adjustment Fund (EGF). The Finnish will use this funding to support 568 workers who were made redundant from Broadcom (electronics industry), as well as from two downstream suppliers, find new jobs. (LC)
