Brussels, 14/07/2015 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 14 July, the MEPs of the committee on transport and tourism (TRAN) voted on the own-initiative report on the mid-term review of the 2011 White Paper of the European Commission on the future of transport in Europe. Out of the many proposals contained in the resolution, the MEPs focused on urban mobility and called for a “new target to double the use of public transport in urban areas by 2030”.
