19/06/2015 (Agence Europe) - Four new directors at DG Trade. On Wednesday 17 June, the European Commission announced the appointment of two new directors in its DG Trade - Sandra Gallina (from Italy) to the position of Director for Sustainable Development, Economic Partnership Agreements for the African, Caribbean and Pacific Region, Agri-food and Fisheries from 1 July; and Leopoldo Rubinacci (from Italy) to the position of Director for Trade Defence from 1 September. This decision follows the appointments earlier in June of Helena König (from Sweden) to the position of Director for Asia and Latin America, and Denis Redonnet (from France) to the position of Director for the WTO, Legal Affairs, and Trade in Goods. König and Redonnet both took up their new posts on 16 June. (EH)
