07/04/2015 (Agence Europe) - Business secrecy: threat to freedom of the press? On Thursday 2 April, the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) stated that the draft directive on business secrecy was a threat to the freedom of the press (see EUROPE 11235). It supports the position put forward by the rapporteuse on this question, Constance Le Grip (EPP, France), who would like to add a paragraph on the issue of whistle blowers. (JC)
