Brussels, 04/02/2015 (Agence Europe) - The EU takes note of the announcement by Tunisia's prime minister designate, Habib Essid, of the composition of his government, the spokesperson for the European External Action Service (EEAS), Catherine Ray, stated on Tuesday 3 February.
This government should obtain the trust of the assembly of the people's representatives before entering into service, Ray continued. While waiting, the EU wants to work in close collaboration with the next government and Tunisian civil society in order to advance the EU-Tunisia privileged partnership and to continue to support Tunisia's remarkable progress towards more democracy, justice and prosperity for all Tunisians, Ray stated.
