Brussels, 19/12/2014 (Agence Europe) - The European Audiovisual Observatory has published a new IRIS plus report on the influence of new technologies on copyright. The digital revolution has provided new ways to access protected works, posing a challenge to current legislation. The Observatory report assesses this situation and considers the need to re-cast the European framework, an issue that the European Commission is currently reviewing. (IL)
