Negotiations on end of discards must continue

Brussels, 11/12/2014 (Agence Europe) - The negotiations between the Council and the Parliament seeking an agreement on the implementation of the landing requirement (end of discards at sea) resolved most of the points on which the institutions' positions differed, such as controls on fishing activities and selectivity measures, Alain Cadec (EPP, France) said on Thursday 11 December (EUROPE 11211). The trialogue on this dossier was held on Wednesday 10 December.
