The annual inflation rate in the eurozone was 0.3% in September 2014, which is down from the month of August (0.4%), according to a flash estimate published by the Statistical Office of the EU (Eurostat), on Tuesday 30 September. The main components of inflation are services (1.1%, compared to 1.3% in August), followed by food, alcoholic drinks and tobacco (0.2% from -0.3% in August), industrial goods not including energy (0.1%, from 0.3% in August) and energy (-2.4% compared to -2.0% in August).
