Environmental NGOs warn of tar sand oil threat in CETA and TTIP

Brussels, 17/07/2014 (Agence Europe) - A report unveiled by the NGO Friends of the Earth Europe on Thursday 17 July criticises how Canada and the USA are using their trade talks with the EU - in the CETA and TTIP negotiations respectively - to weaken European climate policy by conducting intensive lobbying to support access to the European market for their tar sands.
