Brussels, 17/07/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 16 July, European Commissioner for Fisheries Maria Damanaki and new Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau Domingos Simões Pereira agreed to reactivate the ratification procedures for the EU-Guinea-Bissau fisheries agreement, which was signed in 2012. This agreement, to run for three years, was never implemented due to political problems in the country (military coup in April 2012).
