European Commission - Adoption of the “Circular economy” package: “Towards a circular economy: 'zero waste' programme for Europe” (non-legislative measures with a bearing on sustainable food and sustainable buildings, revision of legislation on waste and setting new targets for various waste flows); - Presentation of the Communication outlining the initiative on creating jobs in the green economy (initiative related to the previous one and to a green action plan for SMEs); - Adoption of two Communications for improving the respect of intellectual property rights in the EU and third countries (action plan to fight infringements against IPR and a strategy to protect IPR in third countries).

Luxembourg. Court of Justice of the EU: - Ruling C-573 (Alands Vindkraft - Compliance with European law of Swedish regime of aid to production of green energy - Absence of access to the national electricity certificate regime for installations located outside Swedish territory).
