25/06/2014 (Agence Europe) - Cypriot bank guarantee scheme extended. On 25 June, the European Commission gave the go-ahead to the extension of a Cypriot bank guarantee scheme until 31 December 2014. The original scheme waas approved in November 2012 (see EUROPE 10724) and extended a number of times, most recently in December 2013. (EL)
