Brussels, 26/05/2014 (Agence Europe) - The European Union is readying itself to help Georgia deal with the devastating consequences of the large-scale landslide which occurred on the Russian border on 17 May.
Civil protection experts from two member states (Austria and Lithuania) have been sent to the area by the European Commission, in response to the request for assistance made by the Georgian authorities to the civil protection mechanism of the EU.
