Brussels, 25/04/2014 (Agence Europe) - Under a new European regulation that will apply from 1 January 2015, the use of fluorinated gases (very powerful greenhouse gases) will be banned in new equipment - such as airconditioners and refrigerators - by 2022-2025, if viable alternatives that are more environmentally-friendly are readily available.
The regulation introduces bans on placing the following products on the market:
