Brussels, 17/03/2014 (Agence Europe) - On 14 March last, the Council of Ministers formally adopted the new directive on tobacco products and has consequently completed the text adoption process at first reading. The European Parliament has already given its approval to the informal agreement concluded with the Council, through its plenary adoption of the draft legislation on 26 February.
