Commission opens consultation on electromagnetic fields

Brussels, 05/02/2014 (Agence Europe) - On 4 February, the European Commission and the Scientific Committee on Emerging Newly Identified Health Risks (SCENIHR) launched a public consultation on the preliminary opinion on “potential health effects of exposure to electromagnetic fields”. The objective is to assess whether the opinions delivered by the SCENIHR in 2009 on the effects of electromagnetic fields on health still pending.
