The European Investment Bank decided on Friday 17 January to give Spanish bank Bankinter a loan of €200 million to be lent on to finance investment projects by small businesses of up to 250 members of staff and mid-caps of up to 3,000 members of staff in industry and services. Bankinter will provide a further €200 million for said businesses, making the total investment available €400 million. (OL: transl.fl)
