Androulla Vassiliou in Riga, the new EU capital of culture

Brussels, 20/01/2014 (Agence Europe) On 18-20 January, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth Androulla Vassiliou visited Riga (Latvia), to take part in the Riga 2014 - European Capital of Culture opening events, as well as to launch Erasmus+.

Vassilou met Lativia's Minister for Culture Dace Melbarde, and Minister for Education and Science Vjaceslavs Dombrovskis before taking part in the Path of Light - Chain of Book Lovers, in which members of the public...
