Brussels, 15/10/2013 (Agence Europe) - The Court of Auditors' spokesperson, Aidas Palubinskas, neither confirms nor rebuts the information given by many Israeli and European media supporting Israel. The media all quote British weekly newspaper, The Sunday Times, according to which over €2 billion of aid destined for the Occupied Territories in Palestine between 2008 and 2012 was squandered without it really being known how.
Palubinskas added that the Court of Auditors could not speak about the content of a report that was still being worked upon. He said that the document would be published towards the end of the year. The rapporteur is Swedish member of the Court, Wessberg. (FB/transl.fl)
