Brussels, 14/11/2013 (Agence Europe) - The EU is supporting the implementation of the Algerian water treatment programme EAU II, which puts the priority on training.
In Algeria, this is “young and has developed rapidly over the last twelve years and notably since the National Water Treatment Office (ONA) was set up”, says the European delegation in Algeria. Since 2005, ONA has had its own training scheme specialising in in-house training. The EU is supporting Algeria's efforts through the EAU II programme and has pledged to send 20 trainers. This support has a budget of €30 million over the period from 2011 to 2015. (FB/transl.fl)
