Brussels, 30/09/2013 (Agence Europe) - Charles Taylor, the former dictator of Liberia, has had his appeal rejected at the The Hague against his sentencing to 50 years in prison for war crimes and crimes against humanity - particularly in Sierra Leone during the civil war from 1991-2002. The EU has welcomed this decision as a victory for international justice.
