Brussels, 04/09/2013 (Agence Europe) - The low-cost airlines are to start legal proceedings before the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom against the “stop the clock” measure, the one-year derogation to the EU's emissions quota trading system (ETS) as applied to aviation which has been granted to inter-continental flights (made by EU and third-country airlines) taking off from and landing in EU airports (see EUROPE 10829 and 10832).
