On 14 June, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton appointed 12 new heads of delegation - mainly for Africa. Gordon Kricke from Germany has thus been appointed head of EU delegation to Angola. The new head of delegation to Benin is Josep Coll. Françoise Collet takes the head of delegation to Cameroon, while Raul Mateus Paula sets off for Niger. Jean-Pierre Reymondet-Commoy and Michel Arrion become heads of delegation to the Central African Republic and Nigeria respectively. Nicola Bellomo becomes head of delegation to Swaziland and Nicolas Berlanga Martinez to Togo. Elsewhere, Jaume Segura Socias from Spain has been appointed head of delegation to Salvador, Michael Pulch to Singapore and Mihai Stuparu, of Romanian nationality, to the United Arab Emirates.
