The chairman of the internal market committee of the European Parliament (EP), Malcolm Harbour (ECR, UK), said, on Tuesday 7 May, that the hearing of the commissioner-designate for consumer protection, Neven Mimica of Croatia, might be held on Tuesday 4 June (see EUROPE 10835).
