Brussels, 07/05/2013 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 7 May, representatives from Serbia and Kosovo met for the second time in Brussels to reach an agreement on the plan for implementing the 19 April agreement on the normalisation of relations between Pristina and Belgrade (see EUROPE 10831). The Kosovan delegation is in Brussels with the single goal of reaching an agreement on the implementation, the establishment of time schedules and of people who will take part in the process, and other issues, a press release from the government in Pristina states.
The meeting was facilitated by the EU, with the presence of High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton. The discussions began with bilateral meetings - with the Kosovan delegation led by the deputy prime minister, Hajredin Kuci, then a Serbian delegation led by the adviser on foreign affairs to the Serbian president, Marko Djuric. They are due to continue with a trilateral meeting. The meetings could continue on Wednesday 8 May.
During this time, the Serbian prime minister, Ivica Dacic, and deputy minister, Aleksandar Vucic, met respresentatives in Belgrade of the Serbs in Kosovo to discuss the implemenation of the agreement. (CG/transl.fl)
