03/04/2013 (Agence Europe) - Fire in a school. “Deeply troubled” by reports that 13 adolescents have apparently died in a fire in the dormitory of a Muslim school in Yangon, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, on Wednesday 3 April, called “on the authorities to urgently conduct a thorough investigation that will leave no doubt as to the cause of this tragic incident”, her spokesperson said in a press release. The authorities declare that this was an accident which could be due to an electrical problem, but there are rumours of problems and recent religious violence between Muslims and Buddhists.
